At the request of the Raceday Stewards, E.M. O'Sullivan, rider of The Orphan Girl, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped green and got tired in the straight.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, T. Power Roche, rider of Jolly D'olivate (FR), trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced early on.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Terence O'Brien, trainer, following the winning performance of Ina Mina (GB) in this race, which appeared to represent an improvement on its previous runs. The trainer reported that he gave this mare a break after her last run as she was weak and the change of tactics today may have accounted for the improved form. Having liaised with the IHRB Handicapper, the Raceday Stewards considered the report and noted the explanation offered.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Saint Peregrine, trained by John Patrick Ryan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident as they passed the stands with a circuit to go involving Taketwotoone, ridden by Mr T. O'Connor, Saint Peregrine, ridden by J. Aherne, and Inches Away, ridden by Michael Kenneally, where it appeared Taketwotoone and Inches Away were hampered. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

220D Adare Manor Opportunity M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders' first two approaches to the starter in this race, having reviewed the recordings the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the false starts were caused by a number of horses bolting forward despite their riders' best efforts and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

E. Staples, rider of Sankofa, trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

220E Jim Ryan Racecourse Services H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.P. Millar, rider of Boola Times, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation which was due to him miscounting. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account (third offence) suspended him for eight race days.

220F Curragh To Curragh Charity INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Poet's Sonnet, trained by Paul Cashman, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
